What a complete load of utter bollocks!

It won't work without half a kilo of vented wren's spleen two cooking apples and a salvation army songbook

Any recipe will only work if it is followed meticulously.
Since you have omitted the possesive apostrophe in the above statement it is unlikely that you have the dedication to detail that is required of any successful alchemist.
Go to the bottom of the class.

in fairness if i had just found the recipe to the philosophers stone i would be quite excited and would not care about an apostrophe.
this is the internet, not really the home of correct grammar.
and it is science, grammar not being the main focal point =)

none of you even answered my question.

I shall have to discover my own means of obtaining these substances.

btw I believe E=mc2 is wrong. just thought I'd throw that in somewhere.

if I manage to produce gold none of you will get any. except jacketate.

apostrophe? honestly? who cares
pfft

copper - non-ferrous metal merchant
nitric acid, copper carbonate, arsenic - chem lab supplier
oak bark - find yourself a suitable tree
rose water - squeeze your own from someone's rosegarden ?
lampblack - is this just plain soot from a flame ? shouldn't be too hard then

tbh if the ingredients were any easier to find, you would be able to get it from your local corner shop

If you drink a solution of that, I think you'll end up living a little less than forever. Wink

Good science requires effective communication.
Effective communication demands proper grammar.
Slovenly grammar is diagnostic of disorganised thinking, which in turn is maladapted to good science.

But do feel free to continue to express your ideas with less than perfect clarity and precision.

having a flying broom and a black pointy hat is very important for this type of experimentation.
