Thread: Trying to contact the owner

As I mentioned in the Chatbox I have found a website with a connection to our owner

and have sent a message to the owner of that site to see if they can help us contact Sahil and get him to repair our site (the reg function is bust)

Our website is broken now because the registration button no longer works and I have been trying to contact Sahil to inform him of this (it has been broken for a year)

Could I ask you if perhaps you can help us to contact him ?

Perhaps you can pass on this message if you know how to contact him or even just give us his email address ?

I know he has an address go.ahead.sahil@gmail.com but it does not seem to work .

I have been unable to contact him for over a year.

By the way , feel free to have a look at our site. I don't think you will be able to register but you can have a look at our recent discussions if you are interested

Edit :if she answers and wants to log in but can't register ,maybe Dywyddr has a spare username/password he can loan her?

Good luck with that geordief. I don't think anyone has had any luck contacting the owner in years.

Thanks.I feel pretty confident that this is the owner of our site but less confident that we will be able to get a reply from him.

This is the most hopeful I have been though and think it is possible that this woman can get in touch with him on our behalf

Time will tell....

No contact but there is clearly someone at the end of the line as the registration button is fixed and we have our first new (robotic?) registrations.

Things may pick up now (including spam unfortunately)

Yup - every damned one of the new registrations are spammers.

There is one now "creating a thread" in Physics. A bit to early for a genuine user ,Id say. But fingers crossed its kosher.(zero hope actually but let's see what it may post)

We seem to have picked up a few new genuine members and hopefully some will be able to provide good discusions.

I have sent another message to the site admin ,using the "Contact Us" button at the bottom of the momepage.

It read like this:

Thanks for fixing the registration function . We have had a few new registrations since and it is very good to get "new blood" in the membership.

There is another thing though that does not seem to be working properly ,and that is "Notifications"

When I post in a thread and someone replies to me I do not get an email notification that this has happened.

Is there any way that this can be fixed?

If this was fixed then I am confident we would get more returning members as they might get a notification if someone was to reply to one of their earlier posts.

More membership would mean more activity on the site ...."


Would be great if we could jog some old members memory that we are here....
