The forum is quiet whenever I look in.
Many members, at least for the present, have simply not returned.
Thrilled, however, to see "cheapgcugg", and a few of his pals have decided not to abandon us!

It has been completely inactive for the past 2 or 3 days.I think there has quite likely been a collective decision to abandon ship.

Even the likes of cheapgcugg have made themselves scarcer. One or two members look in each day but ,nothing to see they move on.

I was wondering whether one of the mods might sometime think it worthwhile to put up stickies at the top of the various subforums to let people know that this is a dead site and not to waste their time. Maybe not even worth that effort...

You are right to say the forum is close to becoming "a dead site".
I still harbour the hope a resurrection is possible!

Unfortunately, the forum infrastructure is rather iceberg like in that it occasionally rolls underwater and doesn’t resurface for a week or a few.
I was some of the mud that got to sit up and look around.
    Lucky me. Lucky mud.

There s a chronic problem in the posting mechanism, which probably turns people off.
