A veritable plethora of technical problems remain.
There seems no hope in the short term .I am wondering is there a way to actually torpedo the site so as to save all our own time and that of others who come upon the site?
I remember it used to be possible for business owners to blacklist their opponent's websites with various devious methods so that google held the owner responsible for their actions and so removed the site from the listing...
Either that or just hacking the site with a linkless home page would achieve the same end.
Seems like it is kindest to put this site out of its misery .
If the owner objects then fair enough ,at least he will have to show his (or their) hand.
Needless to say ,we would all have to agree to do this.
Why doesn't he sell it?
I'd buy it. Then I'd hire you guys as admins and give out free ice cream on Fridays.
Maybe his hands are tied in some way
He hasn't created (or bought ) a new website for a good while now.
Is this one running on some kind of autopilot?
btw Anybody get ads on this site when they log out? I don't seem to.....

Unless someone else buys this site, I predict it will crash in a few months and we'll just continue this cycle.![]()
In case anyone is interested I thought another programming forum might have advice to give on our situation and so I started a thread there a few days ago.
Absentee Forum Website owners-VBForums
No startlingly new insights in the responses but no harm done and they were quite sympathetic .
