I have just been booted out of sciforums.com for exposing biased moderators via myspace blog.

So how is it here? Everyone friendly?

right...funny how you suddenly appear after that link was posted. plus, sciforums has had many interesting debates and such I have read. Not once have I seen a moderator act biased, but then again I don't read it that much. So what the hell are you on about?

And if you search for your name you find mostly posts of idiocy and rule breakage time and again.

edit: And, as a side note, I didn't know skin was a moderator there. O.o...

well I guess you'll have to read the blog to read the truth and no I've never broken a single rule till I rec'd an unjustifed warning for referring to a cesspooled thread.

Oh and I mentioned it on my blog...and hence the bs than ensued.

    Anyway thanks for replying

did you ever even READ the rules on that website? Posting stuff from PM's, worthless posts, etc, are ALL against the rules. As far as I can tell it was justified.

The post was a link and a source that supported another members view. I never supported it myself, just helping him with a source. Something I regularly do for members. I am google queen.

You entire post is incorrect. You apparently misunderstand WHY you were banned.

    Theoryofrelativity -banned by- Plazma Inferno!
For: Moderators insulting, flaming and spamming

all of which I've seen you do in your posts. furthermore, I don't see where it isn't justified. Each time you DID break a rule.

Btw: Posting PM's is against the rules. Also, comments such as "he did this and this because I did this" hold no value, since thus far from what I've read his actions were for reasons other than yours given.

This is why "HE BANNED ME FOR NO REASON!!!" doesn't work.

She was banned for spamming and undermining a mod's authority.
She got permission to post a link to her myspace page from the new admin, but he had no idea she planned to paste it at the end of every post so as to rub in her 'power' over the mods.

There had been a discussion just a couple of days prior in the moderator forum about posting links to personal websites and another admin had said that it was considered spam. And this was in the case of a single posting of a link. This was argued against by me, but everyone could see the repititious posting of links is spam. It's common sense.

So, when the biology mod saw fit to enforce this rule, Tor saw fit to go against the mod decision and keep it up. Stating that she had admin permission to do so.

She's lucky she didn't get a permaban for pissing of the admin like did. Porfiry, the old owner, would have just given her the boot and quashed all discussion of the matter at all.

Not only this, but she kept defying moderator decisions as she continued to bitch about Spurious' decision to cesspool a previous thread in a biology thread created to discuss the topic of aids. He would delete those posts as off-topic which is his right as a mod. She would post them again.
There was a venue for complaining about the other thread and about Spurious. But she thought she could just run rampant.
    She was wrong.

As to pm's, I don't think there's a rule against posting them. Unless it's new. It's more like polite behavior. But no big deal. She broke the compact of politeness and thereafter reaped the consequences, rather than pm'ing her warnings and explanations, Spurious simply acted.
But, of course, that was exactly what she wanted.

    Dirty girl that she is.

So, is Ronnie going to show up over here too, Tor?

    That's me.

This forum and sci is connected by a server crash at sci a couple of summers ago. Abraxas and I (she doesn't post here anymore) found this place and we invited our forlorn compatriots to gather here while awaiting news on our home.

We stirred up a goodly bit of drama while here ourselves. That's what we're good at, you know.

But, we also jump started this forum, I think. We added enough posts and activity to the forum to give it a self-sustaining momentum. Before we arrived, posts here were days and/or weeks apart.
