Maybe this has come up before!
I was looking at posts from a forum member who joined in 2005 and noticed I was able to access his/her posts back to that date.
I don't think the loss of any of my posts could be thought of as scientifically significant, but I joined in 2006 and find I can only go back to sometime in 2009.
What happened to these posts and extrapolating, from one example, I am fairly sure this must have happened to other forum members?

Not sure why they are not showing up in search, but the posts are not lost.

Here's your first post: sub-atomic particles.

I ran an SQL query at the backend to get that.

I have noticed mine are not recorded either, with mine only showing back to June of this year. (485 posts total).

Ok found the fix. The search was instructed to show only last 500 posts.

I have increased the limit, but I still need to rebuild the search index to get new data into it. It is going to be a CPU-intensive process so I will do it at the right time.

I am now able to get back to my first post.
    Thanks.
