If I hit quote on a post it automatically takes me to "quick reply" box with the quote tags attached proper. Fine, except if I then hit quote on another post it appends the correct text but wraps the quote tags around the whole shebang, when in fact i would rather the top quote tag were at the tail end of my reply.

    Just an observation.

I just find it easier to do it seperately, quote the post I want copy it into word pad then do the same for any other quotes I want, then type my replies and copy the whole lot out of word pad and post it.

Hey the behaviour of quote just changed on me.

Now if I hit "quote" the message screen refreshes and I lose whatever was in there.

In other words you don't use the "quote" button.

Perhaps if the quote button worked better you might actually use it?

Have you tried multi-quote? (the icon bottom right) click it for each post you want to quote and then hit quote on the last one, and all the other quotes are there in your post, ready to be commented in between.

I never bothered to figure that out actually. Thanks.

I just copy the text I want to reply to, hit the quote button, paste in between the brackets and edit the first quote bracket with [quote="Name"] and I'm set.
