I'd say (not as a mod) Tough. Some threads attract interest, some don't. If they don't, let them die a peaceful death. If they are really interesting (not just in your opinion) they will flourish.
As a mod I know of no policy, but I suspect it would be frowned upon.

Genius is often overlooked in it's own lifetime.
true - presumably i'll recognise my own genius once i'm dead
Dear Postes, thank you for your moral support. It's just that my brilliance comes and goes, could depend on the brand of oysters I am eating, or after a good cleaning out. At my worst I'm capable of thinking that the Moon is made of cheese, and quite willing to debate it. Still, lets all make the most of the good times, and smell the roses in the bad times. Having said that, I do read my Postes all the time, it's better than a massage. westwind.![]()

Dear John Galt. I have been following your Postes on other Threads, let me commend you on your forbearance, tact, and diplomacy. Any Threads or Postes that I contribute to The Science Forum are out there for all to profit from, or be driven to despair. It's not what you get in Life that is important, its what you give up. I've given up long ago. No, No, I just said that for fun. Never give up, unless the other bloke is bigger than you. westwind.
