    Great site!!

Has the catagory of "nanotechnology" been considered. It may be too broad of a subject but, it is showing up in school classes. You can get a degree in nanotechnology at my college.

Just an idea. I probably would not do to much there myself but, i would love to read stuff.

Well actually to get a degree in nanotech at my college you need, chemistry, physics, engineering, electronics, biology, and maybe more.

I did take one class though; and yes, it was mostly chemistry.

To get a degree in chemistry, you need all of those things as well, and a math minor.

Nanotechnology is a form of chemical engineering, it's chemistry.

    Alright cool.
I guess the reason I would suggest a nanotech forum is not just for the chemistry though. Maybe more politics, theories, and applications specific to nanotech.

Just wanted to bring it up. I don't really mind one way or another.

Nano-tech is not just chem. It is a form of chem e. but its amazing how much little chemistry chem e. need to get thier degrees. My Cousin got his undergrad in chem and physics and his grad degree in chem e. He was surprised. Anyway what I am trying to say is even thought it has a lot to do with chem, you don't need to know that much chem for nano-tech. Sorry silkworm.

Nano-tch is a form of chemical engenering, but like chemical enginering you don't actually need to know that much chemistry. I am sure that you need more chem than someone in physics. That is all I am trying to say. That its not just all chemistry, and is actually very little chemistry but is considered to be in the field.

That's what I said. We talk about nanotech all the time. I myself am a chemistry student.

Really? I love chem, even though I had a bad experience in AP. (My teacher was the devil) I want to be a chemical engenier, myself. Thats what I am going to college for. Well really, its to blow stuff up, as a pyrotechnich expert.
