    Can new people quotes other people responses and can they put a picture in their signature? because I tried putting a picture for my sig but it did not work.

    you just need to get a few posts under your belt first, then all of that stuff gets unlocked

    SW / IN - Can quote tags be re-enabled for new members? I know you've disabled tags until new members perform the required steps to earn their way into a new user group with different permissions to protect against spammers and such, but can the system handle an exception to the QUOTE tag? ... whereby the quote tag is always active, even if others are not for new members?

    Smart posts like the below from new members are frustrating because the quote feature is not yet active for them, and their argument would be better perceived if they were:

    I'll see if I can target the disabled functions more precisely. At the moment BBCode is what is disabled for new members as well as HTML. That unfortunately takes out quotes as well.

    I'll see what can be done.
