im new here and i tried to private message someone. It did not work. If i cant private message someone i just dont see the point. So i looked at the FAQ's and it tells me to ask a administrater. I tried the search option next to the FAQ. And got nothing. How do i locate an administrater? Please help me. Thank you.

I'm not an admin, but here's my guess. There are restrictions on certain abilities until you reach a certain post count (usually something like five or ten posts under your belt). This allows the site to avoid mass spam from people with few posts. While somewhat annoying to those who wish to be real people... not spammers... and actually interact with people, the benefits IMO far outweigh the minimal costs of a few noobs having a few site functions unavailable until they've made a handful of posts.

and, there were malicious spam private messages sent out by users with 0 post counts that were just here to infect the members pc's with viruses and sell piddly little products to them. There is reason for the restriction

As soon as your rank changes from "New member" to "Forum Freshman" you will be able to do everything. It doesn't take many more posts. We just don't like to spell out the exact count for the spammers that might read this. It's such a shame they exist.
