Did this discourse occur at your church?

I have full confidence in the objective and rational nature of members. Ophiolite, for instance, is one whom I would count as an online friend but he never hesitates to point out when I'm wrong or where he disagrees with me.

Lets see what they say. The greatest danger is that they simply don't give a crap.

You're becoming a regular source of entertainment SkinWalker. On a site that is probably 60% atheist 20% agnostic and 20% deistic/theistic you really think this will be considered a fair result? You don't even have my position right. So my claim is not even being voted on. Swell. Forgive me for not voting.

First, regardless of our members' thoughts on religion, I think the majority are objective and rational. I'm not asking them to vote on their religious beliefs but on the scholarship of my presentation.

Second, and with regard to your position, either you think the biblical narratives are historical fact or you do not. If I was wrong and you agree with me that they aren't, please feel free to vote on my presentation of the facts.

Third, your vote is not needed. I haven't voted either. Perhaps all three of us should abstain.

SkinWalker with your proclivity to delete posts you don't care for, and you and several other members claiming to know my beliefs and telling others I am a Creationist when I have told you and them straight away I am not you actually think this site is fair and balanced? You are deluded.

"fair and balanced" is one of those right-wing-nut buzz words.

I'm saying I have confidence in our members. But if you feel no way out your predicament than to appeal to your own poor behavior, then knock yourself out. The only posts of yours that have ever been "deleted" have been the ones which were either off-topic or posted after being advised that the science thread you were spamming with anti-science was no longer welcome to you. Posts that are "deleted" are actually moved to a folder hidden from all but moderators. Further posts from you in this thread that are not in context will be moved there as well.

About fairness, please elaborate what is unfair.
About balance, I am not sure what you mean. Do you want equal number of theists and atheists to vote, or equal number of atheists, Christians, Muslims, Buddhists, Hindus and Jewishs? And why should it be so?
If there is any religion that would cope with modern scientific needs, it would be Buddhism

A scientific poll is adjusted to be free of bias. It is not possible to conduct a poll on this site that is free of bias.

Not at all. By fair and balanced I mean I meant a poll that is free of bias and therefore the results are more likely to be meaningful. Poor choice of words on my part.

Besides, when I devote some time to a topic and present a strong argument, you simply delete it. That is time I can't get back.
Nothing you've every posted that was on-topic or in a thread you were permitted to post in has been "deleted." All of your "deleted" posts reside in a subforum visible to all moderators. Each was off-topic or a post in a thread where you were advised your participation was no longer welcome. Your continued posting there was, if you recall, the reason for your suspension.

But, if it comforts you to rely on that excuse rather than participate in a discussion, be my guest. But keep in mind, this is a discussion forum. If you're just going to snipe and snark, it isn't going to be welcome.

Ha Ha! I can't believe you would not realize the deck is as stacked here as it would be at my church. Possible one of us fell off a turnip truck. It wasn't me.

dayton, the point is to get opinions, not be dogmatic. The poll is open to any and all, and the hope is that answers given will be in disregard of religion, but in full regard of the strength of your individual arguments. You have a weak one based on attack of your opponents position and little else, while his is based in summation of the work of others and simple inferences based in logic, making his position rather strong. We don't judge on our "gut" but rather our logical abilities.
Wise men speak because they have something to say; Fools, because they have to say something.

NO sorry, SkinWalker you and Lynx-Fox have both deleted permanently relevant postings I have made. You seem to have no interest in a fair debate. Thank you also for reminding me that other practices you use is to prevent posters from participating and suspending accounts. No longer welcome .... give me a break.

Ah... the persecuted creationist. A tired argument. A dishonest one as well.

Please provide the evidence that your "debate" is being silenced or discontinue your rant. There is quite enough evidence against this argument in the way of the fallacious posts of yours that still exist in their original threads prior to you making this claim to call you on it.

Your intellectual dishonesty here is getting tiresome.[/code]

You run the site, you don't owe me anything but let's at least be honest about what you do.

Deleted posts leave no evidence, I have no way to prove you incorrectly label me and no way to counter your many other absolute prejudices and presumptions. You have a nice racket going here.
