I'm new to the site. I so far don't see anything relating to linguistics/language/evolution of language/philosophy of language and so forth? I think it deserves a folder, no?

I completely agree with you. Right now the study of languages is not included in this forum and it would provide not only information on liquistics, philosophy, and history, but it would show how language has connect(74)ion** between(74) other parts(74)/element(74)s of science. I'm wanting to start a thread on Simple(6,74) English(7,74) Gematria(8,74) that the moderators and many members of this forum are dying to read and heap praise on! But, although it could go in the Math Forum, General Discussion, or even Religion Forum, it would be best for it to be placed into a Linguistics Forum before some moderator with an agenda places it into the Trash Can or deletes it because ---.

**exposed gematria, the key(74): A=1...Z=26. The circle can be either the 15th letter or zerO, i.e. GOD=7_4 (7/4 is July 4)

Really? Do you really think that? You for serious?

This isn't making sense. You just said that the moderators are dying to read and reap praise (I think you meant heap) on this thread. And what is their agenda, if not to maintain the reputation of the forum, ensuring it isn't host to rigmarole?

Thanks a heap! Rigmarole=83/98, you probably knew that already. (That's called sarcasm, my dear man.) One man's or several men's rigmarole is another paradigm shifting discovery.

You didn't even comment on the topic of the thread. Don't you agree there should be a Linguistics Forum added?!

no. I think language related posts could go in art and culture, the most appropriate subforum, or general discussion.

    Arcane(6,43) Mathematician(13,117),

It's not set up that way at universities, so why do it here? The other forum categories in the overall index appear to mirror the different schools of study and subdivisions of study at the college level, so why not add a forum on Linguistics? Your reasoning of including Language in Art and Culture or General Discussion could be said of anything, then. Why not just put everything on one forum and not have any forum division at all?! There are some Internet forums that are set up that way.

The division of forums at TSF is good as it is, but it would be better with the addition of a Linguistics Forum. Besides providing a strong analysis of Simple English Gematria, I would like to discuss the theory of left-to-right, and English Alphabet Hieroglyphics.

Again, these are tied into culture, and could be explored there. There isn't a HUGE demand for a new subforum, so why make one?
