I was baptized, first communion, confirmed, did CCD, church youth groups, the works. I was raised Catholic and my parents are still heavily into the church. But I'm atheist.

Why do people think that athiesm = satanism? Your ignorant dude.... i'm sorry but if im an athiest, then that means I dont believe in god, OR the devil.
    Thus, I can't be a satanist.
Besides, if god and the devil existed... no wonder why the devil betrayed god. God killed millions and millions of his own followers. If my friend killed millions and millions of his creation for practically no reason, I would be pretty pissed too.. aspecially if those creations were living beings.

I'm wondering if he maybe meant to say protected somewhat FROM Satan? If not then obviously I agree, atheism absolutely does not mean satanism and quite the opposite.

He doesn't believe you are in league with Satan, he believes you've been mislead by Satan. I know, little difference, but I'm a picky fellow, sorry

I didn't mean that either, I meant being baptised protects you from the Devil.

Sv, you were saying baptism grants protection? Yet you said, 'you are all somewhat protected by satan'. So you meant that baptism grants satan's protection?

So it seems that in the modern world that being baptised leads to atheism. Curious. Just out of that, what faith were you baptised into everyone? Catholic, Protostant, Methodist?

I've never really cared much for Catholics, they actually think they are above all other humans on this world .
