Just a quick question to the theists, why do athiests have the same survival rate(and better in certain circumstances) in any country from diseases as a thiest???
why would god allow a scandinavian country with 85% non religious have a more illness free long life than someone from a devout islamic country or majority devout christian/muslim african country?
You are looking at it in the wrong way, however it just like all of the previous religous questions they do not have answeres, and such can be argued to prove your point and not the quest for the correct answer... For example:
First if you believe that heaven is the ultimate vacation, why would you want to be here? Why keep you cholesterol in check and stay fit? That would decrease a life span (self induced).
Second, God is just able to punish those who believe in him (voodoo rules) just like those who worship can also speak to him. And with the decrease in golbal morality, those who are athiests have immunity from his wrath?
Third, God only wants those who worship him around him. The nonbelievers are thinning out the afterlife as they become beggers, workers, and prostitutes (30 virgins when you die...) cattering to those who worshiped while on earth. With a shift away from god on earth, there is now an oversupply of "workers" and is not necessary so those who do not believe in god will get sick slower, live longer, suffering on earth longer, have more fractured hip surgeries, have artificial means of life support, be given daily enemas, and forced to watch reruns of the "Golden Girls"... Death doesn't sound so bad anymore LOL.

In Christianity God is concerned with each individual. Doesn't matter where you live or who your neighbor is. God knows your heart and when and if you will accept him. God can kill and let live as he pleases but I think he does so so each individual has the best chance of accepting Him and achieving salvation from sin.

The bible siad we are to take care of ourselfs. Addmittedly many Christians don'.

Just because we aren't experienceing the fullness of his wrath doesn't mean its not waiting for the earth.

Or maybe it just shows there is no god, and if there is, worship makes absolutely no difference to him/her
Like I said a religous question can be answered however you want to support your beliefs b/c there is no fact surrounding it...

the above post does not mention societies, but rather individuals...
the least violent societies are those that do not believe in god? What statistics are you comparing and how do you reach the conclusion that is is faith based causing the problems?
And the best way to decrease crime is make everything legal and get rid of the police force...
