    i want to know what peoples thoughts are on both that book and atheism along with the idea that peoplw are not atheistic but agnostic

    some parts are interesting, but i feel that the weakest part is Dawkins' central thesis where he attempts to gauge the probability of god's existence, which sounds as much of a sophistry as what he accuses Aquinas of

    also i disagree with Dawkins that the enemy is religion - the enemy is intolerance

    I love the book. it is illuminating and entertaining at the same time.

    oh, there's no doubt that it's an entertaining read - i think, however, that he's failed in his attempt to convince the doubters

    Any better way, or argument, to do the job? I think the doubters who are hard-wired from childhood cannot be convinced by any means.

    I think most of what richard dawkins says is true, but as far as convincing doubters he's a bit too extreme.
