Best book I've been reading during lockdown is this.

    https://www.amazon.co.uk/Rise-Fall-A.../dp/1847922724

But I'm still trying to fathom how Adam was taller than a tree. Adam at 123 feet and Eve at 118 feet.
What language did the snake use to persuade Eve?
    Does it explain misogyny?
And YTF do people still believe in this?

What do you define as a short tree? Adam was at least taller than a palm tree.

Were Adam and Eve perfectly formed adults when planted into the Garden of Eden one day during Creation week?
Why did they come complete with navels?

    Snake speak - Hispanic?

    1. Less than 6 feet tall.
    2. Unknown.
    3. Before tower of Babel, all (including snake) spoke the same language (Godspeak?) Spanish is too modern.

    60 Cubits = 90 feet.

Are we still tarnished by original sin, even babies, as Evangelists assume?

While we're here what is your take on Noah's Ark.
Did kangaroos make their own way to the Ark?
Were the large dinosaurs wiped out by the flood, or having made their way to the Ark too big to be carried, so donated their eggs instead (as certain Evangelists assume)?
Or what other explanations do you have?

Seems that in Cheadle they blame Adam for everything.

Realistically, everything in Genesis before Abraham is pure myth. The rest is legend.

More like the myth of the OT and the fable of the NT.
If the Bible gets it wrong to begin with then why should it not continue to be wrong?

What if you move the leading A of Abraham (ABRAHM) to the end. It becomes BRAHMA and the idea of the one God even if it was split into millions.
My local priest used to explain that any unlikely biblical story is just allegorical.
So why should the story of Jesus not be allegorical?

(I am NOT a Christian). The stories related to Jesus were written soon after his life, so he almost certainly was real, although specifics about his life, particularly his birth seem to have been made up.
Contrast to the early parts of the Hebrew bible, written down several hundred or more years after the purported events.

Got to admire Adam. He lived to 930. Must have had good telomerase and low entropy. Jesus only made it to 33, but he survived death. Must be nearly 2000 now. Can you explain that and how many gospel writers met Jesus.

Aam is pure myth, similar to the Greek Heracles. Jesus lived to 33 - end of story. Gospel writers were one generation removed from Jesus.

Adam was not quite the first Adam.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adam_Kadmon

This seems to be the first link between God and Man.

No such person as Jesus ever wandered around Judea. Jesus is the Greek translation of Yeshua.
Christians would prefer not to admit this and it's far easier to believe in fiction and fantasy than fact.
It's also less convenient to believe what science has revealed compared to the Bible, because science requires you to use your brain.

Kabbalah is rather esoteric and not particularly mainstream Judaism.

The person (Jesus or Joshua) existed. The religion which evolved (Paul seems to be the principal instigator) was developed by others. Compare to Islam: Mohammed is real, or Mormons Joseph Smith is real.

Jesus - no historical evidence and an invention based upon many myths and fables of ancient supermen. The Roman occupation forced some to believe the God of Abraham had deserted them. Jews know nothing of Jesus.

Mohammed - Similar invention from the point of view of the Arabs.

Smith - Made it all up.

Were A&E created already hosting the various parasites that inhabit the human body or did tapeworms, roundworms etc get nasty after Eve bit the apple?

All that belongs to human understanding, in this deep ignorance and obscurity, is to be skeptical, or at least cautious; and not to admit of any hypothesis, whatsoever; much less, of any which is supported by no appearance of probability...Hume

Is there some element of euphemism about this? I thought Eve was a nice girl.

The author(s) of Genesis probably never thought about these problems.

You must have heard that Eve was the world’s first carpenter after making Adam’s banana stand.

Actually when I ask that question I was thinking of a painting I used to see in my grandmothers house of all God’s creatures lounging around a waterhole in the Garden of Eden. Picture if you will, predators and prey as we know them to be today all cuddling with one another. So I just wondered what humanity’s parasites were doing at that time.

When we see those paintings they seem to us to be laughably nave but I guess they were probably progressive views for their times.

Religion and politics are inextricably intertwined and all social and political progress (or regressions) have had to have had the imprimatur of religious expression.

Parasites? They didn't make to the Ark and certainly not Heaven.Nor funguses (see only unleaven bread)

Edit ; "have had to have had" is a clumsy expression but I think it is correct English.
