ok so i will put it straight here
was Jesus not a god but actually a King and had a wife/girlfriend known as Mary Magdalne
if so then what about the mysterious Knights Templar and their myths about them possesing the body of Mary Magdalne was their sole reason for being The Knights Templar and offering their services to the king voluntarily asking only a bought down church as their abode............where they were said to dig under at knight in pursuit of something........that later gave them immense wealth and lead to them being attacked by the Church
and thus where is the body of mary magdalne now if she ever existed?

And, just to be clear, the book he "borrowed" the idea from (Holy Blood, Holy Grail) is also effectively fiction based on appalling (*) research and a hoax.

And there is nothing mysterious about the Knights Templar.

    (*) "Appalling" is an understatement.

I don't care to be honest whether Jesus was a God or a Human or a God in a human.. In my personal opinion he's a human..

The book contains a mix of facts, twisted facts and outright fiction.
It did manage to spawn a number of books that distinguish between each of those categories (with varying degrees of correctness).
Given that Brown re-arranged the layout and geography of the Vatican/ Vatican City to make his "clues" fit the story one ought to be even more sceptical of the obscure "historical" bits.

What, the body of Mary Magdalene? Presumably it was buried somewhere in what is now Palestine or Israel. (Assuming she was a real person. But she must have been, there is an Oxford college named after her.)

All books contain some facts to make them believable, IE James Bond worked for MI5, Harry Potter caught his train at Kings Cross station. There has never been a book without any facts in it. All are bi-dimensional, sitting on the border between the real and the mythical.
Unless it is a proven factual account, it must be viewed with sceptism.

A logician saves the life of a tiny space alien. The alien is very grateful and, since she's omniscient, offers the following reward: she offers to answer any question the logician might pose. Without too much thought (after all, he's a logician), he asks: "What is the best question to ask and what is the correct answer to that question?" The tiny alien pauses. Finally she replies, "The best question is the one you just asked; and the correct answer is the one I gave."

Nah - that was Mary Magdalen (pronounced 'maudlin') not Mary Magdalen (pronounced 'magdalen').

So....does that mean that Oxford has proved Jesus' GF didn't exist?

I would not judge Jesus by the bible. Believe me that is one biased book. I believe Jesus was a very influential person during those times, living his own personal life which yes could have included relationships with other women (or men?). I also think that the bible (I will refer to the bible as I originate from a christian background and so am accustomed to it) does not have all the facts in it. At the end of the day it was compiled by humans and it is a known fact that there is a large gap is Jesus' life in it.

    Uh, what?
Please provide some other "source" for Jesus' existence, "career" and life.

Yeah? Which particular "facts" is it missing?

^ Jesus is mentioned in other religious manuscripts like in the Hebrew bible and Islam. Jesus as a person is not only found in the bible. It is the bible that adds that Jesus is the son of god but Jesus as a person is not just mentioned in the christian bible.

There are like 20 years of gap in Jesus' life. I'm pretty sure he did not spend all those years idle doing nothing. That is what I meant by missing facts..

There is no mention of Jesus in any historical record of the time. The first mention of Jesus is by Josephus, and occurs about a hundred years after his supposed existence. The Koran was written 700 years after the alledged death of Jesus.

And the christian bable was compiled about 400 years after Jesus.

So there's simply no documented support for the existence of Jesus.
