So, i read a post about place gods and them not being able to communicate or only to the people in their area. Now my brain tells me we need proof. To believe in a god we need proof of their existence. But what if they cant communicate and they are small gods? I realize you may not need to worry about small gods sending u to hell. Or even hurting u much for that matter. So whats there to worry about if they are so small they cant communicate ?

A god that cant communicate. Can you talk about that?

I could believe in history or science if there were such a thing as the "evidence given for the false god" type of thing. Like where god says, " there will be evidence for a god but do not believe it."
Or another topic is we could believe that the evidence given for say Christ, is actually the devil's doing. I could write the book, that says this evidence given in science and in history for Christ is in fact of the devil or from the root of someone or some evil being. I would write that book. I might even believe i am made on this earth to write that book.

Questions need to be answered: Is god different than the evil being?
We'll im okay right now. I am not in hell. I have been through a lot but im not in hell. Who is causing me not to be in hell right now? God or the evil being?
    Is god the evil being?
Does God intentionally want us to be led astray. If that were the case then why would he would not have let me think that the devil is the person who is making people believe in Christ. Right?

    belief does not require proof.
evidence(clue's) is/are required to justify that belief to yourself.
Proof is required to justify that belief to others.

according to the bible (dont ask me where..i get confused easily try to look up passages (its a names and numbers thing)

it says that satan can pretend to be 'God'.
    ----

then why would he would not have let me think
Why would you want him to do that?

To me the Important element is that we HAVE to decide for ourselves which is which..
your question supports my idea that God wants us to choose for ourselves whether to believe in him or not, otherwise if we didn't have a choice we would voluntarily give up our free will and be a 'slave' to God, which he does not want us to be 'slaves', so he has to be extra carefull about what 'clues' he leaves behind.
(see Muhahaha for discussion on this concept)

Except that we have no evidence, scientific OR historical, for ANY god. Why concentrate on a "false" god?
What distinguishes a "false" god from a "real" one?

Like where god says, " there will be evidence for a god but do not believe it."
Um, did god actually say that, or was it just some bloke making it up?

Given the "definitions" of "god" (puissance etc) wouldn't an inability (to do anything, not just communicate) sort of automatically disqualify godhood?

No science or even a thread of logical reasoning in the OP to examine.

Closed and merged the two low standard treads.

Paul, this is the third thread...all of questionable scientific merit, that you've posted in the past couple days. The only one that comes close to meeting the standards of this subforum is the "Evidence for Christ," thread because it at least attempts to put forth evidence and a chain of thinking that can be examined. Consider this a warning.
