The survey is too direct and too easy to bias. I think you'll have the happiest people ever surveyed. I think you would have got higher validity if you'd masked you intentions by mixing it with other questions. Ask about marraige, ask about hour of sleep a night even last time they went fishing--stuff to throw the taker off your real objective which is to test religion against happiness.

AliceBC, I see you have posted solicitations for your survey in a number of threads. That is not acceptable. I am going to remove them. This thread should be sufficient.

Question 2 : Prefer and do not like are measures of happiness. Naturally I am happier going with my preference. Either way, being happy with the way you are or happy with the way you want to be are just preferences. There is no way to discern between the two, if you're just looking at the answers, as to whether a person is extroverted or introverted. I don't see how the answers tell you anything about the person psychologically.

This question has been answered by comparing a religious person with a drunk. Both are happy in their own little way. The idea that a religious person is happier than a non religious one is as relevant as a drunkard being happier than a sober one.

Ignorance is bliss. That is all.
Arguing with a fundamentalist Christian is like playing chess with a pigeon.

You could be the greatest player in the world, but the pigeon will still knock over all the pieces, shit on the board and strut around triumphantly.
