    Rev Roswel mentioned this on the thread;

    The Last days of mankind:

Nothing begins to exist without a cause, the universe began, and it had a cause (read the cause = God the creator)
No one disputed as I shall..

What is the cause of the universe?

    What is god?

How can a god begin to exist without being created?

I've seen this argument too many times, yet I've to find a theist give any concrete answers to the questions above.

It's rather pathetic, to believe in a superstion of an entity that one can't give evidence of it's existence.

The universe exist, so god did it. That's not an answer, that's only adding to the problem, for one you havent explained what god is, if it exists, were? were's the emperical evidence that a universe was created by a supernatural being. Hell explain what the heck is "supernatural"

They tell us god is unknowable. Yet many pundits like this keep claiming that he knows.

They claim that god is unexplainable. Yet many pundits like this keep explaining what they believe a god is.

They claim that god incomprehensible. Yet many pundits such as Rev Roswel, seem to comprehend this god.

But when emperical evidence is asked for, they only tell us we have to "believe, and have faith" Faith in what? the assertions of ancient schizophrenics that wrote their religion out of despair, from being slaves?

    Como'n

    Godless.

This is a very silly argument you have started. I assume you plan it to be an argument. Either "side" can continue on with the same unanswerable questions. Maybe there is a reason for this. Maybe the question we should be asking is: What is this reason?

A schizophrenic does not know himself. A true Shaman, Yogi, Christ, etc. is more in tune with himself and the world than you could possibly imagine. Although, it is worth trying.

How can a creator i.e. God exist without being created?

The universe was not created, it has always existed. No big bang ever happened, the universe just is.

    Haha see what I mean.

    Now it's my turn.

How can the universe exist without being created?

God was not created, he has always existed. He was never created, he just is.

Because if you entertained to read the links, you would have known that the universe never had a point of origin, it has always been. In order to justify the universe was created a big bang phenomenon would have been observed. However the EVIDENCE as it is being interpreted, shows that no BB ever happened. Thus no creation ever took place.

God was not created, he has always existed. He was never created, he just is.
Were is your evidence for this entity? I already presented my cosmological evidence of no BB ever happening!

    Here is some more:

Evidence for your version of god still pending!

I am sorry but, I am not here to entertain you. I am only here to tell you that this argument you are attempting to start (as I see it) is a waste of time.

    But you are entertaining me.

Anyways, I never said that the "Big Bang" ever happened. If it did, what created it. You see, I could care less about the Big Bang. Your idea about the universe being around forever is interesting. Does this hint to the idea that maybe time is not as it seems. :?

I might as well stay, seeing as how no one else seems to want to join, yet.

I'm not sure, but I'd sooner accept that the universe (which we all damn well know DOES exist) "just is" over a God who may or may not exist. Especially when He has the power to make it known that He does, but chooses not to.

And yet you continue to talk about it and ask questions about it. It is funny that you ask a meaningless question, what created it? This is a religious question, not a scientific question.

Ummm.. I'm not sure I follow. I didn't really ask any questions. I was simply making the point that I could continue asking pointless questions. He asked me (in a sort) to leave. So that was like my way of saying "ok, good bye".

    right then...

You asked a question, but hid it by not putting a question mark behind it. Anyway, I get your point. Right then...

Actually Zelos scientist jumped the gun, in earlier observations. However we now have a controversy in the cosmological science of the cosmos.

Interesting stuff if one is into cosmology like I am. :-D
