Rev Roswel mentioned this on the thread;
The Last days of mankind:
No one disputed as I shall..Nothing begins to exist without a cause, the universe began, and it had a cause (read the cause = God the creator)
What is the cause of the universe?
What is god?
How can a god begin to exist without being created?
I've seen this argument too many times, yet I've to find a theist give any concrete answers to the questions above.
It's rather pathetic, to believe in a superstion of an entity that one can't give evidence of it's existence.
The universe exist, so god did it. That's not an answer, that's only adding to the problem, for one you havent explained what god is, if it exists, were? were's the emperical evidence that a universe was created by a supernatural being. Hell explain what the heck is "supernatural"
They tell us god is unknowable. Yet many pundits like this keep claiming that he knows.
They claim that god is unexplainable. Yet many pundits like this keep explaining what they believe a god is.
They claim that god incomprehensible. Yet many pundits such as Rev Roswel, seem to comprehend this god.
But when emperical evidence is asked for, they only tell us we have to "believe, and have faith" Faith in what? the assertions of ancient schizophrenics that wrote their religion out of despair, from being slaves?
