What if the music we choose to listen to unconsciously reflects our inner wellness, desires, and emotions in that state of time. In a way the music (being a type of electrical vibrational frequency, which it is said that at some fundamental level everything we sense is composed of these oscillating vibrations I.e. string theory) alters our perceptions, and at the same time transcends communication between people showing that in principle, we are all divinely connected as one, and we all have the innate ability to connect with our fellow man on an extraordinarily spiritual level.

I think listening to musc reflects our conscious, not unconscious, feelings and emotions. We choose the music based on our self awareness of our mood, emotions, thoughts and behaviors. But I also think we use the music to reinforce feelings of happiness and well being, as well as to reduce feelings of sadness and discomfort.

I'm sure there is a strong subconscious response to music as well. This may have something to do with the way music measures time and makes us aware of time in a different way from clocks. Music measures time with rhythm and the emptiness between the notes. Much different than seconds and minutes.
