What do you see in this picture?[/img]
|
An angel standing on a steering wheel, being observed by four eyes?
I dunno.
Angel is close (sorry, I ment this to be some sort of
picture quiz)... I am searching for a certain character...
Can I offer you the first hint:
In the biblical art this figure is usually marked
with twelve eyes that can be found from his/hers
middle wing-pair...
The twelve eyes are often said to be a prefer
to its high hierarchical order or the names in Sephirots codex (the kabbalah tree of life).
it's just a picture it has no other connection to reality than that, a drawing of a an mystical angel with a halo and horns out of it's shoulders an extra pair of wings wrapped round the front holes in it's hands or dark dots not sure. and speed lines coming from the bottom, and four eyes around it, what to you think it's of, if not an mystical angel figure.
Looks like an angel with a duped smile, small feet and cartton-style hands, his hair up and extra wings corssed on the chest, standing on a chart wheel while four eyes watch something away from the angel.
Of course it could be Disney's next film hero, but I doubt it. :?
I am remided of Madeleine L'Engles description of a cheribim in "A Wind in the Door", which is a chaotic jumble of wings and eyes. I think her description has a biblical basis though I don't know what that basis is. I also know that Biblical angels are not the always the cutie pies displayed in Christian art. So all in all it gives the impression of a Biblical angel of some sort.
J.B:
of course it doesn't have a connection
to the reality, It is a angel of some sort...
How an angel could have a connection to reality
because they don't even exists.
mitchellmckain:
Cheribim is a close suggestion (I think you could
find both of them in the same text)...
Hint two:
This "mystical" character(s) is/are found from the Bible,
although it/they make only one appearence.
Many other religions and myhts has their own version of
this/these character(s) but the concept isn't always the same.
I'll say lucifer. Gabriel would look more pissed off, and Michael would be having a flaming sword somewhere underneath his robes.
Mr U
Good answer HomoUniversalis but nope,
but now we are closer than before...
Hint 3:
It has said to praise the Gods glory and be
caretakers of his throne...
I think it is what we can find described in Ezekiel, chapter 1... in my opinion it fits the description very well.., the "faces" don't look to be the same as in the picture... Read chapter 1, Ezekiel and see for yourself...
F (i L i) P good answer but nope...
Neutrino the answer is... Correct.
Yes, it is the seraphim (or seraph as some call it)...
I'm not sure if this question should go here, I ain't sure if it's a dumb question either, but anyway...
This just reminded me "Seraph" from The Matrix (picture)... Anyone knows what seraphs do? what's supposed to be the meaning of this seraph in relation with the one in The Matrix?

Hmm.. Seraphim isn't just one specific angel. It are four angels. And they are singing. Yours aint singing!
Difficult to say. In some way, the Oracle is the Holy Ghost, so angels guarding her would make sense. Then again, some of the statements by the Merovingian, and his helpers do suggest that there is more going on. It's a pickle :Pwhat's supposed to be the meaning of this seraph in relation with the one in The Matrix?
Mr U
i see a reflection of a person looking at himself - there are two sides to him and between that is the spirit form - one that is good yet constrained by something - maybe also good. the closed wings are the constraints or maybe protection - maybe both? the lack of eyes on the face could mean no need to see through physical eyes since u are looking at the self through the other eyes - looking for something mote than the physical but rather a state of mind that the self is in at the time. an ability to fly to be free yet constrained contradicting beliefs....
oh its jesus
