Just who has Dominion on earth anyway?

Some ay that Satan rules the earth. Some say God.
    I say man.

Dominion, is exercised by those who can enforce laws.
As I look around I see only man making enforceable laws.

Does that mean that both God and Satan have relinquished Dominion over man?

If that is the case then why do most Christians and others, wait for God to return to claim Dominion when He has clearly given it to man and has therefore given up the right to punish?

Do you follow the laws of man or the laws of God.

Is law without enforcement just no law at all?

Some tell me that God first had it then gave it to man who lost it then took it back and gave it to Satan and around it goes.

    Who’s got Dominion?

    Regards
    DL

Religionist, by their very existence, go against God'swill.

We are told, in Genesis that man is to have dominion over the earth. We were given knowledge of good and evil to help us along that road.

It is God’s will then, that man, not God should reign. Reign over all of nature which includes man himself as part of nature.

To promote the idea of following a God then, other than a man God, goes against what God wants.

I think it logical then that if God wanted dominion he would be here among us helping or guiding the various decisions that man makes in terms of law. He is not.
A leader or king or God cannot claim anything if not able to make his voice heard. An absentee landlord cannot collect rent if he is not there to do so.

It is also impossible to have a diverse population follow laws when there is no one there to enforce them.
Law, without the power to enforce is just words to be ignored by those who do not agree with it.

Most western religions have Genesis as part of their belief system.

Why then do you ignore this God given directive and cling to one that has told you to go and do as told?

    Why do you disobey God.

    Regards
    DL

You know.... If there is a God in the sense that you're thinking, don't you think he has better things to do than to watch a few billion insects scurry around? Because you know that's more or less what we would be to such an entity. And even that is being extremely generous to ourselves. I'm not saying I don't believe in some higher power. Just not necessarily as some wise old grandpa writing the rules and ranting about children ruining his lawn...

I see this argument as a typical pre-concept of people, which never showed a real interest to understand the bible, and the reason of certain things, why they happened. If i explain you, what Gods intent was, and the reason, these things happened, you will certainly come with the next argument, and then the next. And the final will be, no outcome, or change of opinion. I am quit sure, you have made up your mind already, don't you ?

Well, the Old Testament says YHWH rules as the jews have been programmed to do.
Their YHWH made the laws and then used the mass killings to make them obey.

So the jews finally realized that their YHWH is a fraud and have opted for the 'gun and the cannon'.

So now you can say that the G&C rules.

Well almost. Because dollars can buy governments. So in a lot of cases, dollars rule.

I can't site any, but I would bet there is a fair number of Jews who do not support Israel.

I do not believe in the Bible God.
I use the Bible to debate against him.

Every waking moment of man is encapsulated by some sort of law. If you don't believe me, just eat 3kg of deep fried potatoes and experience the dominion of the lavatory

He likes shallow. Snakes crawl on their bellies, so their view of the world is somewhat two dimensional. Shallow does it for them every time.

Maybe that explains why he ignores us.

    Or maybe we killed him?

Hypothetical ideas about a hypothetical god are slightly irrelevant.

    man has dominion.

but satan and god can still influence the earth because mankind opens the doors and invites them in.

Not if we are trying to improve man. God is a target that man should set high and then try to get there.
