Imagine that God is very big , so big that the Milky way galaxy is like a dust near his finger. So imagine that he moves his finger on the milky way . and this would take only miliseconds for his finger to pass all of it.. so this means that his finger moves faster than speed of light? (imagine that you're on earth and looking at God's finger) (while we know that travelling this destination takes many light years)

    Does that mean ,
    - God does not exit ?
    - God is free from Physic laws
    - Einstein's E=mc2 is false
    - Big things are slower

As his finger accelerates, it will seem to become heavier (more massive), which means he has to move his finger harder to accelerate more. Such that it will take infinite energy to move his finger at the speed of light.

Pray that God isn't actually a giant like this, or it would take millions of years to scratch himself if he gets an itch.

I can just imagine this prayer!

so this means that his finger moves faster than speed of light?
No. His finger does not move faster than the speed of light; it simply covers a lot of area in a short time, and it does so at a small speed.

To say that God is big in terms of the physical relationships of time and space would mean that God is a physical being. In which case, we would have every right to demand physical evidence of your preposterous claim.

LOL Oh? big assumptions you are making here. Isn't one day as a thousand years to God? Maybe that means that moving his finger across the Milky way would take the 100,000 years completely consistent with relativity. LOL

In the imagery of my mind I can in thought move across the the galaxy in less than a second. But in this, nothing physical is involved in physically moving across the galaxy. I think what you are doing is pretty much the same thing and I don't think it has ANYTHING to do either with God or with relativity.

I think we can rule out this idea of a physical God that is large in terms of phycial space, yes.

I think this is obvious from the start. Otherwise you need to start looking for scientific physical evidence of God.

If you think that E=mc^2 has anything whatsoever to do with anything else you have said then you obviously do not know what this means.

You have a peculiar understanding of what slower means. But I guess what you mean is that if you had a galaxy sized person then for them to move in a manner sush that we would see them moving at the same rate of speed as someone on the earth (AFTER correcting for distortions due to the aberration of light) then they would certainly have to violate the laws of physics and the space-time structure of the physical universe. In other words, it is complete nonsense to imagine a physical person of such a size.

To be fair to the OP, I think this was more a thought experiment to understand relativity. I don't think it was a religious type question.

Piece of advice, stop trying to think about what God is, or proving him and just focus on your own life. Too many dumb unintelligent morons in the world because they spend all day thinking of what God is and how He exists or doesn't. What's the big deal with him anyway? If you believe in Him and yet search to prove Him, you obviously don't have faith.

And if that's the case you could spend eternity proving Him, yet you never will. The action with the least effort has the greatest outcome, because meekness is the way. Don't you see that in what you've learned so far?
The cake is a lie. I saw it, but it was not really there and merley a trick of the mind...

If people of the world acted together to make it a harmonous world. We wouldn't need to wait 2000 years for a messiah; we'd save it less than 24 hours...
