I posted it from my spaceship, so I would call it sci-non-fi.

It would be easy to walk away after reading No and not see the positive aspects of the story. The normal pattern for futuristic tales is usually doom and gloom at first but then ending happily ever after. Yet I can see how No could be taken in a positive light. We need more of that hidden philosophy, people need to understand how valuable the word of No is for the future of the human race. No, although short for how stories go, speaks volumes. I'll put that story up against the Pulitzer prize winning short story Yes, at least 33% shorter with a totally opposite viewpoint. Fantastic!

TBH, I didn't really get 'Yes'.
I could kinda see where the author was coming from, but it just didn't resonate with me - and I did find the extra 50% (from 'No') made it a bit overly long.

I am currently working on a new piece: 'I'.
    It should be finished soon.

    p.s.
Have you read the morally reprehensible 'Oh!' ?

Looking forward to "I". As far as sci-fi goes, well, my imagination is running wild. Any hints as to what to expect from the main character. I heard through the grapevine that it's about some weird freaked out space dude who infiltrates an internet forum. Without giving the plot away, can you give us a good reason as to why? It also leaked out that this next short story will be 50% shorter than No if that's at all possible.

"Oh!" surprised the hell out of me.

Without giving too much away: it is a transcendental journey through the analogy of science.
Where both life and death are both created and destroyed because of how we view ourselves.
It touches on love, hate, moments and ambivalence, without ever being so forceful as to make you unconformable.
In its essence it is about the illusion of individual existence, and separateness from other aspects of creation.
But, overlying that, is the serious subject of tits and arse.

Ah ha! Much like Buddhism, there is no main character!

I've randomly given two Likes to each of you, not for the specific posts, but for the ongoing development of an amusing idea.

    Nicely done.

Normally, that kind of conversation is summarised by my GF thus: "Where do you get this shit from!?"
