There are, roughly, 7 billion moderately intelligent human beings on Earth. There are 8 billion intelligent Horizos in the sea. Ten billion intelligent Vertics as well. And 25,748,583,684 very intelligent tangleshocks.

Interesting concept for science fiction novel. Please don't spam our forum with it. Welcome.

No attempt at spamming was made, unless by spamming you mean four postings in different topic categories. My understanding of spam is that it's the dispensing of dozens or more unsolicited ads to other people's posts or emails. Since no one has to open any post of mine, I saw no intrusion.

Don't worry, you have survived the spam ban hammer. Usually people get nuked outright. Interesting concept for a book though. And welcome!

    Cool...I'm a survivor!

Thanks, the whole idea for the book grabbed me and wouldn't let go. After a lifetime of taking the oceans for granted, I started helping groups like Ocean Conservancy, Greenpeace, the Natural Resources Defense Council and a few others in raising awareness of our impact on the environment. Then, an epiphany struck me in the simple phrase "The oceans hold 300 times the living capacity of Earth's small waterless surface."

There's so much out there - and down there - yet to explore.
