In a book I wrote and website I created, I posit the realities of life after death. I stress, this is fiction. I would not want this to be the reality of life after death (it's too horrible), just the parameters I defined for my fiction.

    • 1. There is a soul, or energy, associated with all living things that survives death.
      2. This disembodied entity is aware of the electromagnetic spectrum and of gravity, but little else (cannot hear, touch, taste, etc.).
      3. The entity is roughly about a foot in diameter. It cannot pass through solid materials.
      4. The entity has all the memories and intelligence of the person while alive.
      5. The entity is bound to the earth and doesn't go to heaven or hell (open to debate in the fiction of the website).
      6. The entity is unaware of other disembodied entities.
      7. The entity can communicate with the living and dead through the Internet.

I'd appreciate any ideas on further ramifications based on these parameters. One of my early ideas was that these entities were dark matter or dark energy. But I doubt the equation would hold: If all the biomass of the planet and all the planets in the universe were added up (including all the biomass that ever existed since the beginning of the universe), I still don't think it would equal the amount of dark matter/energy required to meet the calculations of current cosmological theories. But I could be wrong.

    Thanks, I'd appreciate your ideas,

    Jennifer
