I want to start a discussion on why you think the earth is round?
I am giving away my book about 23 proofs of a flat earth.
You can read it here on kindle amazon.com/dp/B07NNZBFM1
I am 100% sure that the earth is flat and I have written my thoughts in this book.

    Yep, it's flat all right.
I only have to go to Crowland in Lincolnshire and look all around me to prove it to my own satisfaction.

    Because the evidence says so.

I am giving away my book about 23 proofs of a flat earth.
There are no proofs that the Earth is flat.

You can read it here on kindle amazon.com/dp/B07NNZBFM1

Your search - amazon.com/dp/B07NNZBFM1 - did not match any documents.

    Suggestions:

    • Make sure that all words are spelled correctly.
    • Try different keywords.
    • Try more general keywords.

Which is just as well since the rule is that if you have a point to make you should make it here.

I am 100% sure that the earth is flat and I have written my thoughts in this book.
Being 100% sure doesn't stop you being wrong (which, in this instance at least, you certainly are).

Oh, unless your "proofs" rely solely on religion (in itself a deeply flawed premise) then this thread is in the wrong sub forum.
    Moved to Pseudoscience pending elucidation.

My bet is this is a seagull post to try to drive hits to Amazon for the author.

I'm more inclined to discuss what you feel are proofs of a flat earth, so let's start with them.
If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world. -Thorin Oakenshield

The needs of the many outweigh the need of the few - Spock of Vulcan & Sentinel Prime of Cybertron ---proof that "the needs" are in the eye of the beholder.

In response to the title “What do you think of flat-earthers?”
It would be easy to write an entire pamphlet/book on 23 or more reasons why flat earthers are the dumbest fuckstains on the face of the globe. On why flat earthers are a waste of air that some homeless person might need twenty years from now. To detail my disdain for willful ignorance beyond the pale that is displayed by waste of skin. The fact that the collective intelligence of our round planet goes up anytime that a flat-earther sucks off a pistol. Obviously I don’t consider fllat-earthers as worthy of human consideration, basic rights, or equal protection of the law. Well okay, some of that is hyperbole. You know, curved like the Earth. But yeah, screw flat earthers.
Normally I would present some kind of reasoned argument and references. But were talking about flat earth fiction here. How totally F’ing dumb! Flat earthers need to do the world a favor and just die before they procreate.

Mod note: Some comments removed - rather over the top and not quite what we allow here.

The idea of a flat earth is from monotheistic religion. The Bible mentions the 4 corners but it also says it is a circle. Heaven is above and Hell below.

However: if the Universe is a hologram then a 2D surface can project a 3D + time image, like watching a 3D film in a cinema.
"We see the pictures as having height, width and crucially, depth – when in fact it all originates from a flat 2D screen. The difference, in our 3D universe, is that we can touch objects and the ‘projection’ is ‘real’ from our perspective."

2 reasons why the flat earth idea won't go away.

The fact that the collective intelligence of our round planet goes up anytime that a flat-earther sucks off a pistol. I think that “They were a flat-earther” should be an admissible defense for murder. "I fly a lot, and I mean a lot. No one flies more than me. Listen, I own a jet. I own a 757, beautiful plane, it’s the best plane! If the world were round, believe me, I would know!”

Guess who was supposed to have said that.

Advocating for a space force and more moon missions precludes inaccurate or whole cloth made up quotes about alledged f’er ideology. If Jeff Bezos were only that stupid then he wouldn’t be such an effectual evil as he is.

Flat earthers believe earth's gravity is an illusion. lol

It saddens me to learn that Daft Punk, one of the best music artists ever, believes that the earth is flat. They are daft!

Earth is spherical by inference, imo anyway. Saturn, with it's concentric rings, infers it is spherical. There is no other reasonable explanation for the tipped view of it's rings that we observe. So, if Saturn is inferred as being spherical, then why would that be? Matter clumps. If Saturn's matter has clumped...why would planet Earth (or any large celestial body for that matter) not also clump to a sphere?

    Inference can be your friend!
