I just read the following article making the case for the plausibility of the existence of a relict hominid in North America: https://beta.capeia.com/zoology/2017...-north-america

What case does it make, and what do you want to discuss?

What are the credentials of the author(s) of the article?

It makes the case that it's possible that a unknown Hominid could exist in North America. Don Jeffrey "Jeff" Meldrum (born May 24, 1958) is a Professor of Anatomy and Anthropology and a Professor of the Department of Anthropology at Idaho State University. Meldrum is also Adjunct Professor of Occupational and Physical Therapy.Meldrum is an expert on foot morphology and locomotion in primates.[1]

    oh, its meldrum again.....

We get that Medrum wants there to be Sasquatch running around (beyond resom most times), BUT you didnt Actually answer What the case for that assert IS....
And you didnt mention what you want to discuss in that regard.

(PS still not dead specimens despite another hunting season in the most gun happy country in the world)

I think it's totally possible that Samsquach is out there, but I think we should be searching in areas such as the Tasmanian Tarkine wilderness and other untapped areas.
It is by will alone I set my mind in motion.

It should be obvious that I want to discuss what the article is about. The plausibility of the existence of Bigfoot in North America. Personally, considering how many countries have reports of such creatures, I think they have existed since the days of the super continent. I'm not convinced it's Gigantopithecus blacki like Dr. Meldrum is. As the article states, there are no remains that indicate whether it was a biped or a quadruped, so I admit, assuming that's what Bigfoot/Sasquatch is, is a bit of a stretch

Do you have ANYTHING new to bring to the discussion, or do you still ignore the massive problems that the assertion of Sasquatch has?

PS Please learn mammal evolutionary history, mammals were just staring to evolve when Pangaea started to break up, and primates didnt evolve (as small tree dwellers) until 55 million years ago, WAY too late for your assertion. Also Meldrum is clueless to assert ''Gigantopithecus'' as an option.

Pyko, Why Tasmania?? Its totally irrelevant to Sasquatch, a North American myth.

There's a perfectly good explanation, WVBIG, why some Natives in Western Canada made up this story for their children and for white men.
