    Zero point energy; can it be used? It's always present, infinite in potenial value, but untouchable? I have some ideas, but considering this topic is my first, I'll let some others test the water.

    Also, if in need of knowledge on ZPE or a refresher, this may help:

    Well, if zpe is there, we'll find a way to use it before you know it. We usually end up depending on forms of energy that seem useless now.

    To quote the Cavendish Laboratory toast:
    "To the useless electron, long may it be so!"
