I propose the universe began from an array of cosmic eggs. These formed sandwiches of positive and negative matter all over the surface in the shape of an x such that each repelled its four nearest neighbors. Each x grew into a tall filament and then became a rocket accelerating radially outward until filaments from other eggs were encountered, wherein deflections and breakdown into smaller particles occured. The early universe was then in a chaotic state. Now all particles are moving in arcs which define a center and a sphere of influence. In the equitorial or electric zone repulsion or attraction occurs based on like or unlike charge. In the polar or magnetic zone electric current direction is the determining factor; like currents repel. At the juncture attraction is universal resulting in gravity.
Light is just two particles of equal size in a high energy orbit. Since the particles are rockets it decays (redshifts} with time. The doppler effect is still applicable but unimportant at great distances.
We Should try again to treat the atom and the neucleus by classical mechanics suitably modified.

If you look vrey carefully at the latest high definition Hubble pictures of the 'Star nurseries' in the Orion nebula you will see where they spilt all the Tomato Ketchup.

ill try this one; light rays are absorbed when they hit matter. those rays are gone and not visible to anything beyond that matter. what goes on hits addition matter and travels through a good amount of EM energy.
in the first billion years of travel those rays hit thousands of objects, maybe passing thru galaxy and hundred of items and what little gets through is very distorted and barely resembles what was emitted. now lets go 14 BLY and we know those rays no longer exist in a humans capability or of equipment based on earth. we only know there is something there as Hubble, our best equipment has picked up the specks of light. there is a progressive history of what we see or cannot see but know is there to the limits of the equipment and in diminished form. any assumptions made on the light emitted and taking the accepted speed of earth, the solar system and galaxy or the unknown speed of that speck produced 14 BYA is bordering on an outright deception or wild guess at best.

NASA, tells you the photos you see are enhanced for color. since most space is black and some things indistinguishable with out this enhancement.
be very careful when assuming something shows up red when it may be enhancement and black or w/o any color when in its original digital format.

    J,

Just how does that fit in with the sandwich universe theory? we know it's tomato ketchup, even if the colour is wrong, just spill some on the floor and you'll get the same sort of pattern.

i am saying what you see is not what is, in most cases. if you were referring to speed of and color of, meaning something.
