If so, my bad. The Meier Prophecies. Anyone ever hear of these? Billy Meier is some guy who alleges to have contact with aliens and then wrote out this very long, very painful to read, list 'predictions'. These predictions were apparently based off information these two aliens gave hime. There is like 156 predictions, pretty much all of them paragraphs - a lot of them are just reiterations of predictions he made earlier in the pamphlet. Now, people claim these predictions were originally written in 1958. Surprise surprise, I can't seem to verify that 'fact'.

Any thoughts? Or does anybody have information I am missing?

Not much, other than it is a bunch of rubbish of course.

I'd say, it's debatable. Born in Suid Afrika, but have lived here in Canada pretty much my entire life. Ek kan nie praat die taal lekker nie - and by speak I mean write! I'm relatively fluent, but not literate. I can read simplistic Afrikaans sentences, but even then I need to sound it out - I'd say I'm missing a fair deal of the vocabulary in general as well. It stopped being my primary language when I was about 5.. When I started needing to depend more on English. So after that, whatever I've learnt is just from hearing others speak it.

Ok, cool. So you have an Afrikaans name and surname? How old are you, if you don't mind me asking? Have you ever been back?

Jan Stander, 22, and I've been back a couple times. Mostly Cape Town and along the Eastern Coast. I've got some family in the Karoo too though, so I've been around there as well. Thinking on going back for a bit after school, have even considered moving there.

Edit: Ha, yeah you got it: Jan.
