Rio de Janeiro Brazil is 2hrs ahead of New York N.Y. ---- New York N.Y is 2hrs ahead of Denver Colorado.

    Easy so far!!

Look to the longitude corridor where Brazil is, its only one long/corridor east of where N.York is and two away from Colorado.
The Sun rises in the East and sets in the West, so Rio de Janeiro would get the first rays of light followed by N.Y and last Denver.

    Still easy, huh!

June 30th 2008, Rio de Janeiro Sunrise: 6:33am in New York its 4:33am and the Sun will only rise in less then one more hour.

N.Y Sunrise: 5:27am this is New York time. The Sun crossed over the longitude corridor where Rio de Janeiro is and into the west
long/corridor where N.Y is in just alittle less then (1) New York hour.

Denver Colorado Sunrise: 5:35am in New York its 7:35 am. The Sun crossed over the longitude corridor where New York is and
into the further west long/corridor where Denver is in (2) N.Y hours.

    http://www.sunrisesunset.com/calendar.asp

QUESTION: ďWhy does the Sun cross the Rio de Janeiro's long/corridor and into New York's in (1) N.Y hour and then mysteriously
    slowdown to cross over into Denver Colorado's long/corridor in (2) N.Y hours?Ē

NOTE: All cities selected lay perfectly in the middle of their respective longitude corridors.

This is the part where many who have "ears & eyes" go "deaf & blind."

Sorry to burst your bubble, but times zones have almost nothing to do with the sun. There's nothing scientific about them. They were invented by the railroads (not all that long ago really, about 150 years) to make scheduling trains easier. (Imagine what happens when two trains aren't where you thought they were, and are instead on top of each other.)

You didn't burst anything. And time zones have everything to do with the Sun, but more important was to create the confusion as to when the Sun rose in other countries to hide the fact that the Earth is Flat. The diagram below shows both, provinces, states and countries that observe the DST and those who don't. I don't know where your from, but where I come from I know that CN railroads travel right thru the province Saskatchewan, and as you can see, the striped areas don't change their clocks.

But to continue in the same train of thought of my original post. In November 2007 when DST was in progress Brazil didnít and doesnít change its time. In Rio during that November month on the 30th Sunrise occurred at 5:57am in New York it was 4:47am. The Sun rose in New York at 6:59am. The Sun crossed the Rio de Janeiro longitude corridor and into the west longitude corridor where N.Y is in alittle more then (2) New York hours. Yet in Colorado in the same November month on that day the Sun rose in Denver at 7:00am in New York it was 9:00am and the Sun crossed over the longitude corridor where New York is and into the further west long/corridor where Denver is in (2) N.Y hours.

Look at how confusing and treacherous it is, not one specific date for the Northern Hemisphere and another one the South, because the Earth is not a sphere. IMO, the clocks should be set so that at noon the sun is at its highest point in the sky. That's why it was called high-noon. They should set the time according to this, and then leave it alone.

And what happens when your next door neighbor has a clock set set 4 minutes 34 seconds faster than yours and you both try to catch a train? I think they should be set to something more sane than what they are, but time zones are useful.

Just out of curiosity newcastle, what is the flat earth explanation for why it's noon in one place while it's midnight in others? If the earth was flat, I would expect it to be day or night at more or less the same time everywhere.

And are all the airline pilots who make the New York - L.A. - Tokyo - Moscow - London - New York circuit "in on" the conspiracy?

This book explains it. Time zones are a convention. They are roughly separated every 15 degrees (1 hour of rotation). Without the zones, the times had differed from village to village, because the sun culminates (noon) the later the more the location is placed to the west. In order to avoid confusion, the time zones have often been tweaked to borders. So, unless the countries are really large, the same time is now valid for a single or a few countries along the same stretch of longitudes.

One of my pet-peeves is those bronze sundials exported all over the world to grace people's gardens. The local geek is asked to set the dial up. After some research one determines the sundial will read true when located at a particular factory town in Southern China.

It's like I have to repeat myself with you!!!!

Where on these two diagrams do you see 1 hour rotation for every 15 degrees?

When N.Y state runs the 60/90 degrees longitude & 30/60 degrees latitude and still maintains the same hour within that geographic well over every 15 degrees. And besides, the striped areas like Brazil & Argentina don't even change their clocks year round and they're both on different latitudes & longitudes but same time zone, joke!!!!

Good question truth seeker and GOD has instructed me well if such an opportunity arose. All science thumperís have difficulty in understanding Truth. They believe the Sun on a Flat Earth would constantly shine everywhere on Earth. ďObviously it doesnít!Ē And yet it remains Flat. Allow me to magnify the myopic thinking of these spiritually depraved people. The same thumperís believe that the link above is the actual size of the Flat Earth, "ITS NOT!" How this escapes them is beyond me, the map is ONLY and illustration to understand the physical laws that have been observed on the Flat Earth, that they be applied and accepted as Absolute Truth.

    a) Science thumperís are perplexed because they believe that the Sun on the Flat Earth would always be seen. A given that their vision has no limits, ďno-one in the science community wears glasses, lol!Ē No folks our eyes have limited vision, we can only see so far, this is why we ALL see a Horizon. The Horizon are the limits of our field of vision and not the curvature of the Earth. You would know this to be true if you flew a plane over those Horizontal ďlimitsĒ of your vision that the Earth continues over the Horizon and it continues to be Flat.

    b) When the Sun rises it crosses over the limits of your vision (Horizon) and comes into your field of vision in proportion to the Horizon. Meaning, if something the size of a baseball crossed your Horizontal limitís the size of the ball is insignificant to the Horizon around it and therefore you would only see the ball if it got closer to where your standing. Now the Sun on the other hand is a lot bigger then the baseball but not as big as the science lies that were taught to you. The Sun is the same size as the Moon. When the tip of the Sun crosses into your field of vision you then begin to see everything within (inside) those limits including the tip of the Sun. This is why we see the Sun from tip to bottom when rising, and it disappears the same way at setting when the bottom mysteriously disappears into the "outside" of your field of vision (Horizon) and therefore no longer in your sight (limited), because you can't see nothing else over the Horizon, including the Sun.

    c) Science thumperís will say, ďeven if you canít see the Sun, the light of the Sun surely would illuminate the Flat Earth?Ē Scientists have been in the dark too long scoping the skies they've forgotten what the Sunís light feels like on their skin. The light my brothers and sisters, the light, the one who possesses the light possesses the Truth. The Sunís light has his limits too, and you know it does because at dawn just before the Sun rises the light reaches you before you see the Sun because the light has crossed over the Horizontal limits of your field of vision. And in the light lay the heat and therewith at Sunrise the limits of the Sunís light are hitting you but the heat is lukewarm because these are the very limits of the Sunís light. When the Sun is crossing the midday sky it is right above and closest to you and therefore HOT, but at Sunset again the Sun begins to take distance from you and the limits of the Sunís light are again felt lukewarm.

    d) When GOD created the Flat Earth the LORD made it that the Sun travels six circles round and round the Flat Earth, and when we in North America experience spring & summer the Sun is riding the 3 smallest of the circles meaning closest to the center of the Flat Earth which is the Magnetic Pole (Abyss) or the Arctic circle. The LORD made it that during these 3 of the smallest circles the Arctic circle would receive only light (6 months) and because the Great Architectís measurements are so precise GOD measured sure that the Arctic circle received only the limits of the Sunís light (lukewarm) thereby not melting the Ice Cap therewith the Sunís light.

6 circles, 6 months of light (Abyss), Adamís creation 6th day.

Is this for real?? How can we see the stars then. They are further away. Why is it that we can only see so far? What stops the light from reaching us. And pictures from space?? How do you explain them.

    1) The map was done long ago by Wilbur Voliva and he offered $5000 back in the 30's if you could prove the Earth was a sphere, the money was never collected even today.

    2) 2Enoch: Chapter 11

[1]Those Men took Me, and led Me up on to the fourth Heaven, and showed Me all the successive goings, and all the rays of the light of Sun and Moon.

    [2]
    [3]

[4]Its passage and return are accompanied by four great Stars, and each Star has under it a thousand Stars, to the right of the Sunís wheel, and by four to the left, each having under it a thousand Stars, altogether eight thousand, issuing with the Sun continually.

The Space-Station take photos before the Sun crosses over the Flat Earth, it does so as to not photograph the Stars, eight thousand Stars are a lot, but they can still be counted, you'll note that after the Sun has crosses your own skies you can sometimes, if you really look carefully, you can see the first of the Stars.

    3) There is a limit to our eyes, just like our ears if someone far away speaks or screams there is just so much distance the human ear can pick-up on.

    4) The light of the Sun has its limits too, and you know it does because the Sun's light at sunrise and sunset is cooler then midday, its cooler because the Sun is further away. In the Winter months you'll notice if this is a season you experience from your location of the Earth that when the Sun sets within the hour the temperature drops quickly because in the light lay the heat.

There is no limit to our eyes. If photons arrive - it makes absolutely no difference how far they have travelled we will still see them. So you are implying that the photons somehow disappear on their way here.

I don't understand your answer to number 2. Do you believe the stars are further away from us than the sun?

    1) There are limits to our eyes, our vision, as you go about your daily choirs today look at how many people are wearing glasses, this should clue you in.

    2) The Stars accompany the Sun, 4000 to the right which are seen by those living within the 3 smaller circles the Sun rides closest to the center (magnetic pole), and 4000 more to the left are seen by those living around the 3 larger circles.

newcastle: I wasn't asking about why there are cycles of light and dark, I was asking about how it can be noon in one place while it's midnight somewhere else. If the flat earth and sun worked the way that diagram shows, the sun should always be up or down for everyone at about the same time (even though people would disagree over where exactly it was in the sky). According to your diagram, once the sun falls below the plane that we live on, it should be night for everyone and there won't be any more light for anyone for 12 hours or so (when the sun comes back up above the edge of the plane).

He says that the suns light can only travel so far, and that the sun never goes below the flat earth, just circles above it...

And newcastle, I really don't think you understand what I mean, people don't wear glasses because the light from distant objects doesnt reach them, just that it is unfocussed. So what happens to the photons on the way to our eyes. Do they disappear?

I must have misunderstood his diagram. But if that's really what he's trying to say, it doesn't fit with the fact that the sun disappears below the horizon. If it were really just moving to far away as it orbited above me, I would expect it to gradually get dimmer and dimmer until it faded out completely.

    Any explanation, newcastle?

Well, I've watched the sun rise and set from either coast of the Pacific, and that big bright orb does appear to hide behind the horizon.

But LOL I can see it working as Newcastle says, if we deny and fudge a lot. Woo.

Are the airlines and shippers in on this? How does a direct flight from Sydney to Johannesburg take 14 hours, apparently over water, when it should fly over the north pole? Does spacetime bend as we approach the limit of Earth? Then is the north pole another singularity?

Stuart you sound honest and sincere but how does a theory stump you? Photons is just a theory which in itself doesn't make any sense, "how can anything (photons) be destroyed or created when radiation is absorbed or emitted? What decides this mechanism by the Sun? The Sun when emitting radiation (light) can either create or destroy these photons, how ridiculous is this, and the ozone layer when absorbing the Sun's radiation also has a say in whether these photons get created or destroyed.

Whichever you decide rest assured that where ever these photons were yesterday they will be there today, tomorrow, and the day after that because all your life the Earth was flat.

Obviously your under the impression that the artist when designing the map in the early 1900's had access to some sort of space ship that viewed the Earth from up above. You are mistaken. And like many believing that the map is to scale. "Its not!" It is just a diagram to get a visual so scientist can associate to it the physical Earth laws that are experienced and documented until an honest government of the World is newly ordered to make the truth known.

    Chapter 28

[1]And then I made firm the heavenly circle, and made that the lower water which is under heaven collect itself together, into one whole, and that the chaos become dry, and it became so.

[2]Out of the waves I created rock hard and big, and from the rock I piled up the dry, and the dry I called Earth, and the midst of the Earth I called abyss, that is to say the bottomless, I collected the sea in one place and bound it together with a yoke.

and the midst of the Earth I called abyss
and the midst of the Earth I called abyss

The abyss is where the Fallen Angels are heading, it is also the North pole and for the time being GOD has capped it (off) with ice, the fallen angels when designing our world made it that when they would be flying around the Earth they did not want to see the abyss as a reminder of where they'd be going so they carefully structured the paths around the North pole.

I don't know why you used that globe image with some of our forum members rudely shoved around the horizon. It should be a north polar projection, with direct flights ('cause airlines aren't angels) between southern airports crossing the arctic. Something like this...

Flights traveling non-stop between points far south must be under time dilation, as the passengers get one meal and a few hours sleep, don't complain. And they hallucinate ocean somehow.

Can you believe the Russians planted their submarine flag in the north pole abyss?
