I just learned of US politicians roasting each other. All of the following video links are from youtube.

I personally feel that link #3 may be the best roast of all.

Roast (comedy) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A roast is an event, almost exclusively in the United States, in which an individual is subjected to a public presentation of comedic insults, praise, outlandish true and untrue stories, and heartwarming tributes, the implication being that the roastee is able to take the jokes in good humor and not as serious criticism or insult, and therefore, show their good nature.

Perhaps non-American forum members, would not really understand link #1 and #2.

This first link shows Obama roasting Donald Trump.

President Obama Roasts Donald Trump At White House Correspondents' Dinner! - YouTube

This link shows Mitt Romney roasting Obama. It actually made me laugh.

Mitt Romney Roasts Obama, Media at Annual Al Smith Dinner 'So Little Time,So Much to Redistribute' - YouTube

This link shows Wanda Sykes roasting Obama and republicans.

Wanda Sykes at the 2009 White House Correspondents' Dinner - YouTube

I found this to be a great piece of stand up comedy. In the beginning she roasts Obama. In time 11:40 - 13:00 she roasts Rush Limbaugh.

This link shows Jimmy Kimmel roasting US politicians, and the media.

I liked what he said 23:00 - 23:30 about the US media.

This link shows Seth Meyers roasting Obama, and republicans.

    Here are a few others,

Heres me thinking you meant this Urban Dictionary: Roasting .

I'm sorry, that was not my intent. I hope that does not happen, to many other forum members.

    Sorry,
    Chad.

I would have assumed you were a Christian.

What religion do you belong to?

Or are you just a misguided Christian?

The thrust of the questions are,

Your political party claims to be the party of Jesus. While your political party advocates a state of mind, that Jesus said would send you strait to hell.

Jesus wanted everyone to help the poor.
    Jesus healed the sick.
And his is camel parable stated, the rich did (not) make the right choices.

But republicans are against our leaders, feeding hungry American children.
Republicans refuse to save the 40,000 Americans that die each year, from not having health insurance.
And republicans love to say "the rich made all the right choices."

And republicans created all of Americas financial problems. Did Jesus say to handle your finances like a fool? I don't think he did.

You said "Damn those dirty Democrats, they are on a one way ticket to hell."

But the Christian Bible's laws show, the republicans are on a one way ticket to hell.

Thats why I asked you what religion you belonged to.

What religions laws call for a US republicans behavior?

    Mr. Wilson,

You greatly remind me, of some of my family members, and family friends, that I love and respect a great deal.
The above people and myself, have agreed to not speak about politics so much, or at all.
As one of them said, "We see things differently, and we will never agree."

I assume you are a person of values, morals, ethics, and respect. And I consider you to be a fine American.
To be honest Dave, I did not like you winding me up. For the last few days, I have regretted my actions towards you here.

May I propose the following Dave.
    You stop winding me up.
    And I stop attacking you.

I propose we stop talking (any) politics with each other, for a very, very, very, very long time.

I hope the following (nice) political words, will be the last political words, I say to you, for a very, very, very long time
I actually have many political conversations, with my family members like you. We actually have (huge) amounts of things in common.
But it seems your winding me up. And I am attacking you. I want to stop talking politics with you.
And I hope you want to stop talking politics with me.

I consider all the fighting between us, to be wasted energy. But even worse, I consider it insulting to you, someone I like and respect a great a deal.

Have a nice night/day Mr. Wilson,
    Chad.

p.s. I want you to read this post Dave. Could you please like this post, if/when you read it.
    Thanks.

    Chad,
You attacking me, is akin to being savaged by a dead sheep.
