Seriously, is such a thing possible?

Perhaps it is the rationale that increased male respiration emits excessive carbon dioxide, horror of horrors.

The Italians once elected a pornographic film star to public office, on the other hand. THERE's some cleavage- sadly, both Osama bin Laden and Saddam Hussein seem to have missed out on it. Prince could NEVER make up this kind of crap!

Women like to show cleavage & wear pretty because they want to be 'confident'. In my opinion: confidence shouldn't mean how pretty we look, but should means: how well we do our job. If we fail often: then we should feel less confidence, and we fix it by doing more useful work, not by showing more cleavage.

It is a bad sign IMO.

No I think she's fine. If not mentioned I wouldn't even have noticed.

To which "she" do you refer, esteemed moderator?

Yet dotcomrade msafwan has made an excellent point- we elect our representatives to government to do a job, so anything not performance related should be of no interest.

Yet it is, for both male and female candidates, and will persist evidently.

I will say now that I am not impressed with/attracted to cleavage at all. (and yes I am a guy).

I am also male. I have no problem with women dressing in whatever way makes them feel good. Even though I possess the usual male problem with understanding how women feel, I do understand that looking good is very important to women. This is not just about drawing male eyes, or trying to influence men. Women get a great kick out of looking good even if no male eyes are there to see. I have no problem with that. If this makes a woman feel good about herself, I say : "Go for it!"

Why do some people think if someone has something that is more than most, that it should somehow be hidden?

The photo doesn't show her overdoing anything. Does this mean that no woman should show cleavage, or just those well endowed?

I am also a male, and I'm quite prefer candidates with lots of cleavage (when they are available). I don't really hold out high hopes for a candidate that's genuinely qualified, so I figure why not choose the one that will be the most entertaining to watch? At least then I'm getting some value out of my choice.

Besides it's harder for them to lie to you when you're too distracted to listen to what they're saying anyway.

    LOL, kojax.

But seriously, in a runoff between Margaret Thatcher and Ilona Staller, you would vote AGAINST Maggie?

Yeah, but in cleavage department, Cicciolina trumps Thatcher. Also there is no record to Prince's knowledge of Cicciolina supporting Khmer Rouge government or military intervention in South Atlantic.

    Make love, not war?

Someone is taking an article from the Huffington Post seriously? Seriously?

The cleavage shown in the photo shown on the Huffington Post article is not overwhelming to me. Then again, I don't live in British Columbia. Does anyone else note the dark haired, seemingly Asian woman just behind and to the right of the center of the photo? She's got a deeper neckline than the woman in front. Anything said about her?

The person objecting to Premier Christy's clothing was elected to public office in 1991, won by a small percentage (about half a percent) and was then voted out of office in 1996 by ten percent. Following that, he ran for election in another office and lost that election as well. He says he won't run for office again. Sounds like he's mad and pouting.

This strikes me as an example of "If one cannot attack the substance, attack the style."
The universe is a real place. However, you can't see it, you have to imagine it. Like it or not, God designed, built and sustains the Universe. Deal with it.
