How many tasks are too many if that is the case? Majority media advocating that Obama's is putting hands on too many thing rather than handling one thing at a time.

America has a multitude of problems. There needs to be a great number of things being worked on. Politics is great at taking forever to do something from start to finish, if Obama were to work on one thing at a time he may only get two of three things done in his entire term. By no means are they trying to do too many things, thus far I've been been very happy that I voted for him.

Early on in the administration is the time to take risks.

Surely he's taking the proper tack here, tho admittedly Americans are more accustomed to waiting months on end after a crisis occurs before Washington halfheartedly acknowledges that there is a problem.

Which approach is more the mark of leadership? :-D

Whereas for you Brits Westminster has acted without delay to ensure that the NHS is fully funded and there are no waiting lists for surgery; the education system is a well oiled machine; and all your electricity comes from windmills??? :?

The thing is Obama had this all thought out beforehand, so he was ready to go from day one. So I agree with you - he understands leadership.

The world follows the US! That's my story and I'm sticking with it. By the by you are a brit yourself (after a fashion ) and perhaps have more of an interest in expounding upon the NHS, education, etc etc. I'm largely content to sit with my personal vices and leave the policy to those who can do something about it. That and throw the occasional stone across the pond!

Your poll should have had another option - trying to do too much of the wrong things.

It's easy to pass a lot of legislation when your party controls both houses of congress.

IMO Obama is trying to use the sense of urgency about the economy to implement his socialistic wish list. Case in point: health care. He says socializing health care will help cure the economy. Well why isn't that working for all the countries that already have it?

His "stimulus" package is a whole lot of pork that will increase the national debt. I don't think it will work, and the stock market doesn't seem to think so either.

His energy plan is just plain dumb. The so-called renewable energy supplies are a liberal pipe dream.

He didn't even mention nuclear power in his last speech, and he's killed off funding for Yucca mountain without having any alternative solution. Funny how he and Harry Reid know Yucca Mountan is not the best solution when they don't even have ANY alternative.
