Even if your pants were sealed completely (duct tape will not seal cotton denim), you have displacement to account.
You have to displace more air than you weigh to get any lift at all, and your pants just don't have enough volume to lift you.
Find out how many cubic inches of air will weigh the same as you do. Then find out how much helium you would need to displace that many cubic inches of air.
You will have to consider how much helium weighs, and how much that volume of helium will weigh, and displace that much more air as well. Not to mention the weight of your balloon and ropes you're connected to.
Hard and rough numbers here. We could get more exact, but I'm not sure how much of this is completely new to you. If you want to get more detailed and more exact, just say.![]()
No it wouldnt work. For those ^ reasons.
If it was real the person woud be upside down :P
ahh too bad, still pretty cool though eh?
You realize it's an ad, yes? (The same dudes made a better ad in which guys jumped into jeans from all sorts of crazy places. That ad, unlike this one, appears to be devoid of trickery, too.)
