is it possible to increase the speed of light if it were possible to travel at light speed, just hyperfeticaly. would it be possible to be in a vacume with just you and a ray of light both traveling at light speed to maybe in a sence WACK!! the ray or light and making it go faster?

    Trying to time travel?

Light is always light speed, in any dirction given any speed.

If I travelled 99% the speed of light away from light or towards it, it to me would still be 100% the speed of light.

No unfortuneately not. Your very hypothesis falls in that you state that you go at x amounth the speed of light. If we take this to be c then relativity takes over and this again (unfortunately) "pisses" on any ftl travel.

so i think what you are saying is that light travels at 299 792 458 m / s and say it were to go faster than that it would still be traveling at the speed of light. and that the speed of light is just what we call the speed at wich light travels at. no matter how fast.

    am i right?.

It can't go faster. c is a constant.

c alternates its speed in certain circumstances. Circumstances where it changes are in water, mediums and even Minkowski space. It varies in black holes too.

C is a constant in space, ordinary vacuum space.
