Is it possible to tune in and listen to the actual sound of the sun?

Actually, I think so. Someone a while ago posted a link to what Jupiter sounds like, tuned down a few octaves into the audible range. I'm assuming that they could do the same for the sun...although what we hear will likely have to be modified so that its audible.

The sun actually oscialtes with a frequency of something around 0.01 Hz so I guess you would have to adjust the ppitch to make it audible. This is in the infrasound range.
