    I want to calculate earths gravity.

    The formula I used:
    G=(6.67300•10^-11) (mass / distance^2)

    mass of earth = 5.9737•10^24kg
    distance = 6378.134344km (the radius of earth, this is what I use right?)

    now plug it in and...

    G=(6.67300•10^-11) (5.9737•10^24kg / 6378.134344km^2)
    G= 6.25•10^10
    but thats not right...

    what am I doing wrong? I know I'm making some kind of simple mistake... thanks for any help!

    You used kilometers for the radius of the Earth in the equation rather than meters like you should have.
