I earlier asked for ideas for a generator. Question... can an energy efficient genorator be used as a motor? if it can, I have another question. how do you calculate the extra energy needed as electric friction increses. I'm trying to create something cool (hardly groundbreaking) and fun. If you want to know, I'll tell you. I'm lazy right now though, and don't want to explain.

Are you talking about an electric motor turning a generator, which in turn gives electricity to the electric motor?
