well, i poured water down a tract today, and i noticed something.
when the water was spiralling, it spent a lot more time going down the tract, and the tract overfilled a lot more easily because of the slower moving water,
whereas when the water went down without any spiralling motion, it took only 1/3 of the time of the spinning water.
    what force is this?
    centrifugal? vortex?
