For a couple of days Ive been bothered by thoughts of the mysterious force: Gravity.

What is the relationship of a spinning particle and gravity ... Same principle with small and large scale.
What causes the spinning of galaxies and/or the spinning overall? gravity?

well i thought as the centre of every galaxy there was a black hole, so i guess its the gravity of the black hole which causes the rotation, but i saw a programme which said gravity was a relatively week force, and the rotation was following the dent in space-time caused by the bodies mass :?

Look into general relativity. An object that moves anywhere in the universe has it's original momentum from the big bang. The motion of objects causes curves in spacetime-a geometric representation of gravity. Spacetime is the 3 spatial dimensions (1-forward/backwards, 2-left/right and 3-up/down, and the one time dimension-forward, which causes an invisible fabric known as the spacetime contiuum. You will have to read general realtivity a lot to understand gravity.

they spin for the same reason that water spirals when you pull the plug in a bath.

It's called orbital mechanics, I think. It's the idea that, when centripetal force and gravity cancel, the objects just keep circling and never move toward or away from each other. Just go around in circles.
