    Hi all,
Many months ago I heard of a scientific phenomenon, but I’m buggered if I can remember the details and now that I come to Google it, I can’t find it. Hopefully because I can’t remember the details, and not because it was all some sort of dream.
I’m pretty sure it was about quarks: basically these science dudes took an atom and swapped some electrons about, then when they poked one atom one way, the other atom reacted in the same way, at the same time; Despite the two atoms no longer being bonded together.
Does that sound familiar to anyone? Can anyone point me to a more accurate description of this experiment?

You might try looking up quantum entanglement and/or quantum teleportation, but I'm not actually sure if that's what you're looking for.
