Hey everyone, much to my immense excitement last week, my wife and I were qwalking in Picadilly circus in London, just about to cross the road, and guess who pulled up along side us to cross the road in his chair??? Yup - you guessed it right !!! - Stephen Hawking !! - he had a couple of minders with him though, of course. Just had to tell everyone about it !!!!

The hand of time rested on the half-hour mark, and all along that old front line of the English there came a whistling and a crying. The men of the first wave climbed up the parapets, in tumult, darkness, and the presence of death, and having done with all pleasant things, advanced across No Man's Land to begin the Battle of the Somme. - Poet John Masefield.

Well, I asked him if he would be so kind as to dribble onto my autograph book. He refused - some people are just so rude!

No, I seriously feel sorry for the guy though, to have a mind like that and a body like that must be terrible. A few people recognised who he was took photos of him as he passed, I had a cemra with me but after they did that I didnt want to ask him for a photo incase he felt like a fair ground attraction.

I was there last weekend too, but I didn't see him. Certainly would have been cool though.
