Proposed plans for a perpetual motion device have been released, Orbo seems to have quite good explanations, using two magnets to cause a motion that seems to never break even.

Pessimist or Optimist, you have to love the courage shown by Steorn, after the idea of cold fusion, the world seems to be pessimistic about free energy, but Steorn are bent on releasing this project

"Free energy" is in no way related to cold fusion, nor did attempts at cold fusion affect the impossible development of free energy.

Free energy is nothing more than myth, a pipe dream. It violates every basic principle of science that has been shown to be correct by thousands of experiments. If you'll watch that company closely, you will see it's claims to free energy "evaporate" before very long. And, hopefully, that will teach you (and a few others) a very important lesson in reality.

But energy is free already. Just like apples that grow on trees, and water that falls out of the sky. And coal that's just lying in the ground. It's only people who make you pay for it.

So if there was such a thing as free energy... it wouldn't be free.

well i didnt say it had anything to do with coold fusion, but scientific communities had become more pessimistic about free energy ideas, and then now steorn are having a hard time trying to find people that even believe it.

Well, you certainly DID infer that due to the failure of cold fusion that any kind of free energy idea would be harder to accept - that's what I was talking about.

And that's not true at all - the scientific community has ALWAYS rejected all the crackpot ideas claiming to produce free energy - both before and afer the failure of the original cold fusion drama.

As I said before, the whole thing about free energy is that it's nonsense and violates several sound, tried and proven true scientific principles. It will never work, regardless of what some company or individual says.
