    Can anyone explain in simple terms how cold fusion can be possible? If not, direct me to a thread explaining it because I can't seem to find any.

    Will be greatley apprieciated from me and my mum

    as far as I know, it isn't possible (yet). The people who claimed they done were soon discredited.

    is there a chance some of the super-dense elements in the latter part of the periodic system could create fusion at low temperatures?
    of course, if there was any way to make the materials in significant quantities.
