On another forum I was shown an interesting simulation of the formation of the Bose Einstein condensate.

I am wondering if a similar simulation might be possible (or even in existence) for the double slit experiment?

Maybe this could show the wave nature of the moment when the screen interacts with ("detects") the incoming light or particle wave.(and also as it passes through the slits)

Would it be necessary (for the simulation to be faithful) that the entire apparatus (including the screen) be considered to be at close to absolute zero in a similar way to how it is in the video I have shown?
