Anything that will stop sound will have a good chance of blocking ultrasound. Experiment with what you have available. In science there is no substitute for experimentation.
Sound is reflected by hard surfaces at a density interface. air>metal or ceramic.
Vacuum insulates sound completely. It must pass through the hard container, around the vacuum.
Soft, elastic closed cell foam is a good bet, but may transmit certain frequencies.
Sound will travel around any unclosed barrier.
Is the source transmission to air?
Are you shielding the source (boxed in) or shielding from the source (boxed out)?
This all depends on what you are trying to do.
Describe the setup.
Just at him? Baldness as a human trait predates ultrasound by quite a bit.
Owkay, seems legit. I hear aliens use mind control devices to make us go to war, and make people stupid. Maybe this has something to do with him thinking the government is making him bald?
Hitting your head with a brick will cure baldness, for sure.
